Up and running in three steps.

  1. Create or import a wallet

    Open the web app or install the Android app. Create a new wallet, or import one you already have with its 12- or 24-word phrase.

  2. Back up your recovery phrase

    Write the words on paper, in order, and keep them somewhere safe and offline. They are the only way to restore your wallet.

  3. Add funds

    Buy with your local currency through a partner, or receive crypto from an exchange or a friend. Then swap, send or trade.

Security

Self-custody, explained simply.

A bank or an exchange holds your money for you. ValidWallet doesn't. Your wallet lives on your device and is controlled by a recovery phrase that only you have, so nobody can freeze or move your funds. Not even us.

Your one job: keep your recovery phrase safe.

Write it down and store it offline. Anyone who has it can take your funds, and without it nobody, including us, can restore your wallet. We will never ask you for it.

What does self-custody mean?

You hold the keys, not us. ValidWallet creates your wallet on your device and protects it with a recovery phrase that only you have. We can't see, freeze or move your funds, and we can't recover them if the phrase is lost.

Is ValidWallet free?

Yes, the app and the wallet are free to use. You pay network fees and the fees of the services you choose, such as a swap route or a payment partner, and they are shown before you confirm.

What fees will I pay?

Network fees go to the blockchain. Swaps include the route's fee and a small, visible ValidWallet fee. When you buy or sell with local currency, the payment partner charges its own fee. Every fee is shown before you confirm.

Which countries and currencies are supported?

Buying and selling runs through on-ramp partners. Local options include currencies such as the Nigerian naira, Ghanaian cedi, Kenyan shilling, South African rand and CFA franc, and card or bank payments are available more widely. Availability, limits and payment methods vary by partner and region.Note 3

What happens if I lose my phone?

Install ValidWallet on a new phone, or open the web app, and restore with your recovery phrase. Your funds live on the blockchain, not on the phone, so everything comes back. Without the phrase, nobody (including us) can restore the wallet.

Can I trade stocks where I live?

Stock, index and commodity markets are perpetual futures on Hyperliquid: leveraged contracts that track the price, not shares, so there are no dividends or shareholder rights. Leverage multiplies losses as well as gains. Availability depends on your country and the venue; read the risk disclosure first.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no sign-up, email or password for the wallet itself. If you buy or sell with local currency, the payment partner may ask you to verify your identity under its own rules.

Is there an iPhone app?

The web app runs on iPhone today and a native iOS build is in preparation. Android is available as a direct APK download.

How does ValidWallet make money?

A small, visible fee on swaps and a share of the payment-provider fee on buy and sell. No selling of user data; we do not have any to sell.
